About Us
Lumisyn is actively bringing to market a novel class of cadmium-free high-performance phosphors. Our phosphor materials are designed to work directly on LED chips without the need for remote placement and complex additional optics. Temperature stable and able to withstand high optical fluxes without losing quantum efficiency, our spectrally-tunable materials are ideal drop-in replacement phosphors to improve the efficiency of white-emitting LEDs.

The company is based in Rochester, New York and began active operations in 2014. Dr. Keith Kahen is the company CTO. He has over 50 US patents and has published in numerous scientific journals.
